We're all salivating rasher thrashers today, aren't we? Which side of bacon do you fall on - crispy-crumbly, or soft-chewy? In the US does Canadian bacon count as international bacon?

chained_bear commented on the word international bacon day
Crispy-crumbly, for me. I'm not down with chewy bacon unless by "chewy" you mean sort of jerky-like chewy. Soggy, flabby bacon just pisses me off. Grr.

Bacon's got to be chewy! I like my meat to put up a fight. Food in general should be damp, not dry; succulent and full of healthy juices.

... Despite the truculent beauty of the phrase "I like my meat to put up a fight," yarb, are you seriously suggesting that crispy bacon could possibly be described as "dry"?
Vats of pig fat notwithstanding?
